All my PDF files are contained in the Drupal files directory. I have a particular node with 6 PDF files. For example, Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc. There appears to be only a Chapter1.txt in the directory. This suggests that the other attachments were not indexed using PDFTOTEXT. Can you please validate this problem?

The module does support multiple attachments. Make sure the path to pdftotext has a dash/negative sign after the %file% placeholder and it should work.
