Akismet unpublishing existing Comments and marking them as "spam"

Every few hours I check Akismet's moderation queue and find that a dozen or more old, published Comments have been Unpublished and marked as spam. I've submitted and resubmitted them as "ham" and republished them but the next day many of them are back in the spam queue. It doesn't seem to matter what the body of the message contains.

I'm seeing a similar problem as well. what does the status of "published/spam" MEAN? i see it on a node comment i published a few days ago. does it mean someone clicked the "submit as spam" button for that comment after i had approved it as published?
