Clean install Media 7.x-1.0 then clean install Media Browser Plus 7.x-1.0-beta3. No library plus available.
Uninstalled that then tried the 7.x-1.0-beta3+15-dev version. This time can add folders but they do not appear in the Media tree in thumbnail view. I can files to a sub folder but the sub-folders only appear in the list.
To browse for files clicking on the Library Plus tab only images show, no files like pdf or .doc and once again no subfolders.
Is there a working version/combination of the Media, Media Browser Plus modules?

bostjan commentedHi, I have exactly the same problem. Is there any solution at all? It's kind of urgent:)

doublejosh commentedModule does nothing for me. I'm not the only one: #1416336: Unable to Install module
Comment #3
doublejosh commentedBeta 3 doesn't work. Dev does.
dimitriseng commentedDev does so it would be great to get a beta 4 released, thanks.

phoenix commentedSame over here. The 7.x-1.0-beta3 isn't really working. The dev does work. Is it possible to make a new release of the 7.x-1.x branch?
jlporter commentedYes please bump a release of 1.x, I know 1.x has plenty of critical issues but it has a lot more functionality than the most recent beta and is what people are after when using this module with stable media.
rcodinaI agree, we need ASAP a new stable release of 1.x branch because it has been too much time since 7.x-1.0-beta3 was relased (2011). Until a stable version of Media 7.x-2.x is released, the branch 7.x-1.x of Media Browser Plus is more important than 7.x-2.x one.
Thanks!

jlporter commentedfwiw I finally tried media 2.x and it's stable enough and has a good enough ux that I don't need this module.
For media_internet I only had to fix this for oembed to work, simple form issue.

rcodina#8 Until they have a new "green" stable version for Media 7.x-2.x I won't use it on production sites.
By the way, for those interested in just adding a filter to the library of Media 7.x-1.x stable branch they can check this:
