Redirect After Registration

I'm using LoginToBogan module and I've immediate login turned ON. After registration, I'm taking them to an intermediate page, where I display some static content telling them they are automatically logged in. On this page, I would like to display a link linking to the page where they originally clicked Register link.

I made the register link like this -- user/register?goto=node/xxx

Now, After they click Register, when they land on the intermediate page (configured in Logintobogans "Redirect path on Registration" input box), the goto information is lost. i.e., I can't find it in $_REQUEST.

Anyidea how to make this work?
