I am curious what it would take to update this module (http://drupal.org/project/uc_out_of_stock) for Drupal 7.x and Ubercart 7.x-3.x. We would like the ability to not allow people to order more of a product than we have in stock.

I ended up hiring archard (http://drupal.org/user/150967) to implement a solution, which works very nicely. I am hoping he can maybe comment on what he did. I have messaged him a link to this thread.

There's an issue for that module which has a D7 version in the thread. All I did for iwant2fly was install it and make sure it worked without any bugs and tweaked anything to his liking. Post #57 here http://drupal.org/node/1201310 has the module I used.
