CSS to support mega menus

Superfish has a new beta option to use multi-column submenus which allows one to make mega menus with the superfish module. In my mind it would look something like the 'simple' theme that comes with superfish (see the bottom of the page here I would be willing to sponsor this and if nobody here is available to work on it I'll probably head over to the bounty board. If someone has a good reason to use the Megamenu or Gigamenu module I'd be open to that too.
