I got a problem, that whenever I Drag and Drop a menu with submenus, all the submenus get duplicated. After a couple of times I get a lot of duplicate menus which aren't doing anything.

Will look in the code myself and post some updates.

I was working on a similar module when I found yours, so I stopped mine but will look at yours to help improve it :-)

I noticed that it is only one the submenu create content. If this menu is included in the topmenu which is being edited. Every time you save the topmenu it creates a new instance of "create content" and all it's sublevels. I'll include a screenshot to show what i mean.

Have you seen this behavior anywhere other that "create content"? There were a couple of issue with using this module to control the main navigation menu, which is why it doesn't provide a link for editing mid=1.

Nope, so it is because "create content" is locked, therefore not removable by the functions of the module.
I'm working on another way of update the code.

I'll keep you posted.
