I'd like to help out with a Drupal 7 version of this project. I've already posted a patch here and would like to help out with cleaning up some of the to-dos, as well as possibly adding some new features such as the ability to "block"-ify individual download forms.

karschsp, you are now a co-maintainer! Thanks. Hope you improve this module and get it going on D7 (8?). Sorry, I don't have time to review your patch, but I'm sure that you can do it, looking at your website.

I'm currently struggeling with getting http://drupal.org/project/autosave to work on D7 properly. Have you used that module before/got it working? If yes, please contact me here and maybe we can setup an informal chat.
