I'd like to step in to become a co-maintainer of this module. The last commits from both maintainers are over 1 year ago. Currently, there are 8 patches with Need Review and nothing is done with it.

I've just released a Sandbox module that uses Flickr API as dependency and I think it would be good to have Flickr API actively supported as well.

i'm swamped with a fulltime 12 month contract doing not-drupal things -- so please go for gold with this module.
