Submitting a book review doesn't work

hi,
after upgrading from 4.6 to 4.7 the bookreview module doesn't work anymore. I can see the list of books under mysite/bookreview. I also get the form to submit a new bookreview. however, clicking on submit just reloads the form and doesn' save or create a new node.
any ideas?
