So I've used Drupal for sometime now, even wrote part of the D7 definitive book.
I needed to make a new module and thought to myself someone must have a blank module I can just use to get started. I did a quick search and ran across you.
My mind was blown! What a wonderful teaching/learning tool you have created here. I have never heard in mentioned in the circles in which I run and It saddens me that more people don't know about it. I will try to change that because the very concept is what I believe all software development should move towards. This type of module levels the field and lifts up those who want to learn in a way that help them explore.
I can only imagine how much easier my own road to Drupal proficiency would have been had I found your excellently documented code snippets when I started. This is the kind of module that truly teaches a man to fish. Thank you so much for your efforts!
If you need help maintaining it please let me know.
Thank You
Greg Stout

joachim commentedThanks!
I can't take credit for the idea though; this module was created by webchick and I took over maintainership a few years ago.
There's a few plans for further development in the issue queue, but they would require quite a big rework of pretty much everything: generating test file frameworks, and generating themes. Do feel free to take a look at whatever interests you :)
