Since I had tried using other php scripts for the site, I checked those out and they work fine. It has to be with drupal (whether with the server or with the scripts). Please reply if you can help or if you have this problem....

I'm seeing what the OP is seeing.

Seems that you installed Drupal on a freehost? which may be too restricting for Drupal to run in, despite running "other" scripts on same host.

Seems they can handle Joomla...

Agenator - June 13, 2007 - 01:54

It was working for a while and then just quit... also the hosting service can handle joomla which is sorta like drupal so I would assume it would run drupal.......
By the way can u explain wat op means? Im guessing operater... and what info do ya need from me?

It's still working for me

styro - June 13, 2007 - 02:01

I see a purply/blue Drupal site using garland, and I can look at the tracker and both nodes you've posted.

eg: Your mission:

Provide an Uber Pwnage gaming clan for GRAW2 and Gears of War....

Apart from the leet gamer speak I can't see any strange characters etc on the site.

Drupal and Joomla require different settings on a database and on database tables. see: http://drupal.org/requirements insure your free host meets these requirements.

There's probably nothing

styro - June 14, 2007 - 03:56

that anyone here can do to help you. You'll need to talk to your host or find a different host.

If you site works for some people, then it is 99.9% likely that Drupal configuration isn't your problem. If your Drupal setup was broken nobody would be able to see your site. If your hosting was incompatible with Drupal, nobody would be able to see your site. After all you managed to get it running and put some content in there before it 'broke'.

You need to get your hosts technical support to help you as it is probably something to do with their server setup or upstream routing or network security etc etc. If you can look in your web servers error logs you might be able to get some clues.

This (as far as I can tell) isn't a Drupal problem. Some portion of the internet can see your site (I still can) and the others can't. The broken page that comes up isn't a Drupal error message, so I'm guessing that for those visitors that can't see the site, the problem happens before Drupal gets a chance to run.
