Form error highlights wrong vertical tab when multigroups are present

When a content type has a mixture of Standard groups and Multigroups (all displayed as vertical tabs), and a field under one group fails validation, the wrong tab will be highlighted red, if there are multigroup tabs above it.
If there is one multigroup above, the highlight will be one tab off, if there are two multigroups above, the highlight will be two tabs off etc.
In the image below, there are required fields in Standard group 2 and Standard group 11 that haven't been filled out, but Standard group 9 is highlighted.
