I'll like to get rid of the "Posted on [date] by [user]" line that's on most pages, how would I do that?
Thanks!

We are all sometimes lazy to read manuals, are we

Thanks for the hint and I found it under "Global settings" in themes - looked and looked under the custom theme and couldn't find it! Not too lazy, just careless and overlooked :)

I really cringe when I see accusations of laziness fly around. Remember, not everyone has been with Drupal for a long time. Let's not discourage new users with such comments. If you were running a business, I doubt you would talk to customers that way, so why talk to fellow Drupal users that way?

In addition to this rudeness, you gave bad information. The post information is actually in the global theme settings page.

This problem was solved, and now moving onto problem/brick wall #5 today...

Search results page lists "Page - username - date - time - # of attachments" after each page link. Any way to turn that off too? Thanks!

That I'm not sure about. I am guessing you will have to do a theme override of the search results. Try using Google's advanced search to limit a search to drupal.org and look for a solution that way. If that doesn't work, start a new thread, it will get noticed more that way.

I modified my search module not to show certain things, such as username and other things. I am not sure if you can use the views module for this?
