Images in galleries are not shown if private files are activated.
Files are uploaded as they should to the private files directory.
Drupal and Apache give Acces denied / 403 errors.
Thumbnails in gallery view and slideshow are displayed.

Tested with a fresh install of drupal 7.12, setting files to private and installed Galerie as the only additional module.
On another test site without private files everything worked as it should.
