Linkpoint API for Drupal 5.x almost ready - testers needed...
Hi Guys,
I have been working on the Linkpoint API module for the ecommerce package. I am about done with it, unfortunately my version of ecommerce is not working on my local server so I am not able to test the module. If anyone has ecommerce for drupal 5.x working and want to test this please let me know - you don't need a linkpoint account to test it...
While I am here, I wanted to ask about a few options for this Linkpoint API and what others think. I used to sell goods with oscommerce and I had a nonpublic module put together. When an order on the back end was canceled (by customer or admin) the module would send the transaction id to linkpoint and void it automatically - this saved you from having to login to linkpointcentral.com to search and void the transaction.
Another feature this oscommerce module did was offer the customer a credit for a transaction, or to charge them more - from the backend and within the transaction details page.
Another one, when an order was shipped, this oscommerce module would finalize the linkpoint transaction. In the end this makes you a more responsible merchant (only finalizing charges goods are shipped - common merchant account rules) and you don't have to worry about batching out daily.
These are some advanced options that I would like to see in place but the demand needs to be there. Let me know...

been a year?
status?
Now a drupal project!
Well I gave up waiting for someone else to do it for me ;) and did something myself and got permission to put it up at http://drupal.org/project/ec_linkpoint
Note we appreciated the input from McNeely and others.
Would appreciate others trying and their input on the project.
linkpoint gateway for ecommerce
Just checking in to see if there has been any others who have tried using this gateway. I've got a site going live here shortly and would like to use linkpoint instead of authorize.net because it's a better gateway.
Would really like to see this module get a push into production level module.
Thanks,
Kerry
