Hi all,

I wonder if there is a official list of updates that break OpenScholar. I installed it several times now and encountered issues every time I updated associated packages. So far, I have identified Organic Group (http://drupal.org/node/1509116) which leads to "Access denied" messages. I also have an other issue where after an update, my publications are not shown at all anymore even though they are still in the DB.

So overall, it seems like I have to trade off security and functionality in the current downloadable version. Is there some official comment or list, with updates that are "safe"?

You probably should not upgrade modules unless you have a strong reason and you know what you are doing. The issue in OG module does not really affect OpenScholar. We are not using private groups at all .
