I managed to fix the issue with Entityreference RC1 http://drupal.org/node/1505176 and there is the next wall.
I have a field I need to reference in Profile2 and it is not recognized as a limiter for the second field.
Any plans to support Profile2?

I've not tried it myself with Profile2, but any entity should work. Have you got your common field set up correctly?

Yes, if I put the existing referenced field in Profile type I can't select it to limit from. If I put the exact referenced field as user field it works.

You're going to have to explain clearly where your fields are and what they point to for me to have a go at reproducing this; right now I have no idea where to start.
