Image preview not showing in crop window

When i click on "manage new crops" on a image field for the first time the preview image doesn't load in the crop dialog window.

But it i close the window and click it again it loads no problem

While its able to function it can be annoying to have to do it twice for every image on an image heavy site. I'd appreciate any help.
