Need a way to spoof-test for users other than admin

It seems likely that developers will need a more comprehensive way to 'spoof' IP addresses to test the module within the scope of their application. Since you already include a means for the smartip administrator to do this, I propose a feature to let any user spoof; or, the next user who registers. That way one does not need to have all anonymous or authenticated users spoofing at once. For a more sophisticated feature, one could define an list of IPs and the next x users who register would take those IPs as they register, or something like that.
