I'm trying to figure out why this has happened. Maybe term or forum ids did not make it into all the appropriate places. Clearing drupal's caches and running cron at least let me see the forum categories but there are no posts in the categories. I'll post more info as I discover more.

To be clear the nodes and comments are there just not indexed correctly to display at /forum or /forum/%.

If you open one of the forum posts do they have a term ref in them?
