The latest version of related_nodes (1-jun-2007), claims to work on DR5, but I got some problems.
So I created a patch.

Note: When trying to submit this issue, I couldn't select the 'Related node'-project, so I chose 'Related Content' . Please, feel free to move it somewhere else if you know where to find the correct issue queue

To be honest, I did not understand the query to select the related nodes (don't know why the third term_nodes table was used).
I have rewritten it, with 1 JOIN less, and it seems to work too :-)
