Installed the most recent dev of entity to try to take advantage of the multi value field patch from http://drupal.org/node/1058856. I am trying to get individual image url values from an multi value image field and the fixes from http://drupal.org/node/1058856 don't seem to be working for me. I have a multi value image field called field_images_embed:

this works, and depending where/how used, gives a long list of the URLs of all the images in the field with commas between them or displays the token display settings from the content type config:

[node:field_images_embed]

these don't work at all:

[node:field_images_embed:1]
[node:field_images_embed:1:file]
[node:field_images_embed:value1]
[node:field_images_embed:value1:file]
[node:field_images_embed:value1:url]

What am I doing wrong? It looks like some people are having similar issues in the other thread. Can we get some better docs in the node token examples explaining how to call a single image url value, or, is this a bug, or, ???

I just wanted to put in my two cents that this a show stopping bug for me- I tried to do this to get the first date of a date range and it actually took my site down.

Same problem in my case. I created a Image field with multi-value support. Now when I used [node:image] it just prints comma separated image urls. I tried [node:image:1] without success. Please help.

In some cases, you may be able to resolve this issue by clearing the Entity load static cache before token replacement takes place. Here's how I resolved the problem in a very early Commons 3.x dev commit: http://drupalcode.org/project/commons_notify.git/blobdiff/2dc2468d7d5470....
