I hope that all drupal modules will become subdirectpory compaitble. shouldnt be too difficult. I am willing to test them for you

you mean you are willing to move all modules into subdirs? And make a ptch for that? That would be great :)

nope, I was hoping th module will work even if drupal is not installed in the docroot

dup of http://drupal.org/node/13110. Are you sure with the *latest* cvs is the case?
1. the regexp has been fixed lately
2. the regexp is exactly similar to the blocks module. Thus if sections do not work with you in a subdir, ibloks paths will not work either.

please re-open the other bug if your problem persists.
