HI,

I've installed this module o0n 2 sites, but get the same error when trying to add a link:

user warning: Unknown column 'alink_case_insensitive' in 'field list' query: INSERT INTO alinks (alink_start_boundary, alink_text, alink_end_boundary, alink_case_insensitive, alink_url, url_title) VALUES (0, 'alink word goes here', 0, 0, 'url goes here', 'Challenge IT') in /path/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 172.

I've searched through the documentation and cannot find anyone else who may have had this problem.
I've installed it on 2 Drupal sites using Drupal v5.1.

PLEASE help!

Try to run the update script.
I'll release now a new version to fix this. If my solution doesn't work just download the new release, uninstall and then reinstall the module.

Thanks for getting back so quickly...

One of the options I tried was to run update, but alas, that did not solve the issue.
I've tried a variety of things... Deleting the tables in the database, uninstalling the module, deleting the folder, then reinstating everything, but I still get the same issue.

Hmmm, try the latest version. When you run the update, if it doesn't work afterwards, run the update again and choose from the select drop down next to alinks "2". That should solve the problem.

I tried as you described, but still nothing...

The following queries were executed

Update #3

* Failed: ALTER TABLE {alinks} ADD COLUMN alink_external TINYINT(1) NOT NULL DEFAULT 0 AFTER alink_end_boundary
* Failed: ALTER TABLE {alinks} ADD COLUMN alink_class VARCHAR(255) NOT NULL DEFAULT 'alinks-link' AFTER alink_external
* Failed: ALTER TABLE {alinks} ADD COLUMN alink_weight INT(3) NOT NULL DEFAULT 0 AFTER alink_class

With the same error about missing db tables as before.
What is in includes/database.mysql.inc on line 172? Because I'm, getting the same line error with the chat room module. Has something gone pear-shaped with my Drupal, or is there a serious problem with includes/database.mysql.inc on line 172, or are these 2 modules still not 100%?

I think it's something with your db. If you have access to your db through phpmyadmin or anything else please send me an e-mail and I'll give the right mysql query to execute.
