I see that node teaser uses its own database table.
What happens when switching from the Excerpt module to Nodeteaser module?
What about the special adjustments that has been done for nodes with Excerpt?

I saw a comment in another issue about running both modules simultaneously. Does that mean that one has to continue using Excerpt module to avoid "loosing" what has been done using that module? Has anyone got any methods/scripts to put excerpt-made teaser adjustments into the nodeteaser table?
