Has anyone successfully run Drupal off an iPlanet web server? Is it even possible? If you have any information on this, it would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Anna

why?
not much on via google about this neither on drupal.org itself. To my knowlegde php runs in iplanet and so it should be possible although you will miss the clean URL's I quess and also note that you are on our own, not many developers will have experience with iplanet. So you should ask yourself why iplanet? Even on sun hardware I would say Apache is a better choise than iplanet, esp when you arent using any jave stuff (jboss and the likes are very good btw). if the only reason is rthe directory server than you can do LDAP from both apache and drupal towards this service.
It should be possible but it seems like a crippled solution to me.

Any progress?
I'm curious about what sort of problems you've had getting drupal on iPlanet.
I'm using iPlanet, largely because it's a university environment, and we use what they give us, which is iPlanet. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
