Fonts too small, not so with bluemarine

The description of each choice is of so small font that it is unreadable in FF on Win2K with a 21" display @ 1280x1024.
Same spot, it is readable with bluemarine
I used FireBug to track down what CSS was taking affect, and the font sizes seem to come from system.css which is core to Drupal. Since bluemarine looks fine, maybe the font Andreas09 is using does not appear clearly when it gets small.
I am holding off as I do not want to tinker with Drupal core files if I do not have to.
