In admin/content/taxonomy/edit/term/x?..., right below the field Parents is helper text "Parent terms." that is linked to admin/help/taxonomy#parent.

This link is pointless for two reasons: there is no #parent anchor on that page, and the concept of a parent isn't even discussed.

Suggested resolution is to simply remove the link.

Same criticism for the link in the helper text under Synonyms: no mention of synonyms is on the linked page. Just remove the link.

I'm confirming what Aren Cambre has stated, the parent and synonym links point to a page that mentions nothing of them.

I've rolled a patch that removes both the parent and synonym links on the add/edit term form. For the sake of moving forward, I made the patch against 5.x-dev.

5.x is in string freeze, so unlikely for this to get in.
