http://drupal.org/image/tid/109 is going away. http://association.drupal.org/ needs a replacement page. Most simply, this can be a regular page with no access control. Showing something different for members or better copyediting might be nice, as long as it doesn't delay it much.

sheldonkreger commentedI have all of these images saved and uploaded to DA.O. That means that it's OK if these disappear now.
Tomorrow I will create the views to make them easy to find on DA.O.
drummPlease keep notes on any URLs we might want to redirect.
sheldonkreger commentedI set up a content type on DA.O "Membership Badge" which stores a file attachment of the image, displays the image in the body, and has a link back to the original URL on D.O.
I also set up a taxonomy to display the different sizes of each badge on one page, like this:
https://association.drupal.org/taxonomy/term/514
Each type of badge (individual, organization, board, general assembly) is a taxonomy term in the vocabulary "Membership Badge Type." "Thumbnail" (as seen at http://drupal.org/image/tid/109 ) is another taxonomy term which gives us a nice list of all membership badge types:
https://association.drupal.org/taxonomy/term/524
This gives us a decent set of membership badge galleries without having to render any views.
Let me know if you want this set up differently.

webchickWow that looks great, Sheldon! And certainly much better than http://drupal.org/image/tid/111 :D

sheldonkreger commentedWill this be set up so that users who have linked to the old pages will still have working images?
drummThe old image nodes have been deleted from Drupal.org. If there are more URLs that need to be redirected, an example of a broken link or image would be great.
sheldonkreger commentedWe recieved a Zendesk ticket saying that the following link is broken: http://drupal.org/files/images/DA-individual-120.png
The new URL for that image is: https://association.drupal.org/node/15594
I listed the old drupal.org/files/images/ URL within each of the new nodes on the Association site. This is where my browser pointed when I right clicked then saved on the images when they lived in the old node. Perhaps I should remove those URLs, since they are all broken?

sheldonkreger commentedMarketing staff is interested in having new images made. Does anybody know if there are editable files available anywhere?

webchickYoroy was the person who made the original graphics. He might still have the old PSDs kicking around.

twardnw commentedDiscussion of new badges should follow in #1432204: New Membership Badges
