way to disable jquery thickbox

I have installed the Lightbox module, and when I use IMCE gallery the background color in my lightboxes in other pages turns to the same color of the thickbox. when I disable the imce gallery module it return to normal (darker background). What I would like is a way to disable the thickbox in imce gallery, so that it uses the lightbox if its enabled. I think this module is great is the best way to have user galleries that display in the user profiles built with the profile module.

Any help about how I can modify the code of the imce gallery to disable the thickbox.
