The field newsletter_email coming from the module Webform Simplenews cannot be selected for validation rules.

It would be great if this widely used field could be added.

I'll second this. It is common on a form where you're collecting an email for subscriptions to have the email field repeated and then to verify that it has been entered the same both times. This should be simple with Webforms, but not being able to select the newsletter_email field makes it pretty much impossible.

Well I have exactly the same problem! Is there any chance for a fix?
Because the field newsletter_email is necessary for the automatic subscription process. So a validation rule for this field would be great!

Drupal 6 is no longer supported. If this issue exists in a later version of webform_validation, please re-open and update the version number.
