table view not properly updated, even after cron run

New users do show up in the list, so that part works, but the information from their profiles (i.e. "name" and other fields I have created) do not show up. My users give these details while registering to the site. However, if you open a user profile and change anything in a field, save the profile and afterwards run cron, then the table is updated and shows the content of the field.
