Content types woes

I setup a wiki with Liquid. I wanted the content-type page to be automatically added to the wiki, no matter what. So I edited liquid.module so that the "Add to the Wiki" checkbox was checked by default ... but now I have a forum, and the "add to the wiki" checkbox is checked by default too, so all my users have to uncheck it to post a normal thread, which is annoying. Is there any way to enable the the chechbox for "pages" but not "forum" posts?
