maybe not obselete, but perhaps not 'Actively Maintained'
You can get the unreleased D7 module using git.
However, it seems to have no dependencies and no relation to smsframework.

Not obselete, just different. I plan on updating this module and pushing a stable release soon.

Hello all, I have taken over maintainership of this module. I still believe there is value in providing this module as I can provide features faster than integration with the sms framework. I have published the 1.x dev release of this module with a proper 1.0 dropping in the near future. One of the biggest things I am lacking is setup documentation which I hope to have ready in tandem with the 1.0 release.
