For the project I'm working on we needed a way to add and remove information from the workflow tab provided by the state_flow module. The attached patches add 4 new update hooks to state_flow.pages.inc: state_flow_events().

the patch didn't apply cleanly, but I was able to get it in to 7.x-2.x
