Corrected some typos and simplified / clarified some translations.

floown, please review my changes and update the state of this issue when you think the translation is ready to be committed.

Thanks to all of you for your work on this.

I mentioned to DamZ that I try to keep the strings the same within a branch. So, 5.x-1 will (hopefully) be the same strings forever.

5.x-2 (which is not yet stable) has new strings that are still changing.
