It appears that due to a recent "fix" to D7 Core #1346760: Add a scalable weight select element, you can no longer define layout weights in the Omega UI. Upon saving they are all reverted to the same weight. This has also affected a few other modules, most notably the context module #1439134: Error when saving context - unable to define weight I am also going to assume many, many other modules that utilize this.

himerus commentedGoing to mark this as a critical issue...

himerus commentedI'm unable to reproduce this issue...
I've attempted to update weights (moving ordering of regions around) without issue....
Also reordered the weights (just changed values but left my ordering intact) on the responsive layouts (narrow, normal, wide) and everything seemed to work just fine.
Drupal 7.12, Omega 3.1.

pixelsweatshop commentedI have been fighting trying to identify this issue for about a week now. Trying to replicate it in a clean install. It did indeed happen at the same time as the context issue was coming into light #1439134: Error when saving context - unable to define weight. I assumed that because the symptoms were the same that they were related to the core change. It turns out that http://drupal.org/project/jump_menu was the culprit. Thank you himerus. Closing and will open a more in depth issue with jump_menu

pixelsweatshop commentedAnyone rolling across this issue thinking it's an issue with Omega. It is indeed jump_menu see #1512550: Better Jump Menus module interfering with all Drupal forms
