this is the setup

  • Drupal 7
  • Administration Theme: Seven
  • WYSIWYG-Module with Ckedtior
  • Browser:
    • Internet Explorer 9.08
    • Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0

course of action:

  • Login
  • Create New Content: Page
  • Click in white CKEDITOR-Textfield (ckeditor works)
  • Click Linkit Button
  • Enter http://www.google.com in field Target path
  • Click Insert Link

Expected Result:

Actual Result:

Works when:

  • Text is selected in editor field

I wanted to point out that we are having the same problem. Also using WYSIWYG Module, CKEditor Library, and Linkit. Exact same thing happens when there is no selected text.

Commited this patch.

There was the same error in TinyMCE but that didnt "died" like ckeditor.
