I am Pierre. I've made a Drupal 7 port of the opensearchplugin module and I have a bunch of improvements ideas for its future. I will be very pleased to join you in this project's maintenance task.

My D7 proposal is attached to this message. I hope it will be useful to a future opensearchplugin release.

+1 for D7 port finalized and/or migrate to OpenSearch plugin due to Merge opensearch_plugin.module into opensearch.module.

I've made some coding style improvements to pdureau's D7 port and added options to set up a custom search path. I also removed the dependency on search. This because there might be people that use the Search API or want to provide a search interface with a custom view.

I'm changing the status to 'needs review' for the D7 port although I am aware that this issue is about pdureau's request for co-maintainership. Therefore I leave the title intact.

Whoops, it still had a small error in it. Fixed now.
