Two things - I hope I'm doing check-ins correctly

Seems that you can only check in a group of things - not break them apart. I might be wrong about this.

If you change the status to Check In on an item, it will take you back to a page such as

http://Drupalsite>/admin/content - and gives me a 404 because I don't have "pretty" URLs set

What link are you using to set items to "checked in"?

Im having the same problems.. Did a new install on a project server ubuntu 12.04, installed Durpal 7, and then MERCI ( merci-7.x-2.0-rc1.tar.gz and merci-7.x-2.x-dev.tar.gz ) give me both problems..

I added some camera kits in a bucket and the added 3 cameras in their. Also did this with light kits, all worked ok.. Logged in as a user and created a reservation. All that was good. Then logged back in as a Admin and clicked on Navigation>Reservation on the home page. Then on anything you click edit, the reservation pulls up, now you add the camera etc, then change the status to something (checked out), and clicked save.
Boom 404 error.

If you go back a page it still comes up.. You go back two links or click on home, everything is ok.
Go back and check the Reservation it sees to take.

But why is it giving me a 404 error. What do i not have setup correctly.

When you select "Navigation>Reservation" what is the URL? What is the destination when you select the edit link.

I have: http://www.foo.bar/drupal-7.9/admin/merci/manage/reservations for the first.
and
http://www.foo.bar/drupal-7.9/node/80/edit?destination=admin/merci/manag...

Which all works fine for me.

Darrick thanks for taking the time to help out.

When I hover over Reservation in the Navigation area it show me the following link.
http://172.21.8.162/drupal/drupal-7.15/?q=admin/merci/manage/reservations

Then when I click on it. This is in the address bar.
http://172.21.8.162/drupal/drupal-7.15/#overlay=%3Fq%3Dadmin%252Fmerci%2...

Is their something I may have missed in setting up MERCI.

Still having this same problem. It dosent seem to be causing any problem with drupal. Just is very annoying for users.
Any clue what i need to fix. Or even where i need to start trouble shooting at.
Thanks
Brad
