Any development on this issue?. I can't do code, but I'd love to help make this module somehow. If you ever used gravatars you know how cool and useful it is.

i remember drupal have the avatar insertion, rite?
just the matter of uploading preferable image or select from the existing library.

In the link above, I have a crude implementation that works, but required hacking the theme engine a little. There were suggestions below the post about how to do it all in the theme, but I have no time to try yet. You're welcomed to give it a shot.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. The challenge will be to combine the drupal avatars with gravatar, so that users can choose their preference.
