Issue Summary
If someone types in for example "Chicago" into the views search, can this module produce results in Chicago, and then also display zipcodes in Chicago in a filter to further narrow down the results? If so, how do I achieve this? If not, any ideas how it can be achieved with other modules?
Thanks in advance.

I don't know exactly if it would work, but try filtering by Location: Zipcode or Location: City and expose the filter. You may also expose the operator. You would just do that by going to edit the view and under filter click add and the rest is pretty self-explanatory.
On the map I am developing currently, I turned on the autozoom yesterday, which zooms to a level to encompass all of the map's markers. Then, I exposed the Location: state and Location: country filters. It zooms around the markers to the region selected by the filters. Currently at beta.outdoorsman.com/map-listings
