Hi, I have been looking for a way to display a couple blocks on all blog pages, and this module looks like it is capable of doing this.
But, I cannot figure out how to use it at all. Is that PHP block in the description to be pasted into the block config page in the PHP section at the bottom? How does one make entries in the Globalnode settings, and in what format? What is supposed to be listed there?

dllh commentedYes, the PHP block given in the documentation is to be pasted into the block configuration at the bottom. I don't know that I tested the block, so make sure it makes sense before adding.
You access globalnode settings just as you do any other settings. The description below the textarea explains that you are to enter attributes one per line. So if you wanted both type and taxonomy attributes, the textarea would contain those two words, each on a line, and the $GLOBALS['globalnode'] object would inherit those attributes, provided they exist in the given node.
Note that there's also a "list" attribute that gets set if the nodeapi view hook runs more than once, which would indicate that this is a listing view (e.g. /blog rather than /node/1234). That attribute just provides a little more context and provides one more thing you can use to filter behavior through.
Hope this helps.
