I spent several all-night
I spent several all-night sessions on db debugging after my last big D6D>D7 upgrade, The upgraded site worked (though I never got the d7 Create Content link to point to the page for the d6 imported content types), but there were several error messages in the Log which gave problems. I think you are very smart to outsource this work! With luck, the engineer who wins the contract will have the skills to resolve the issues more quickly than I could :-)

Price is unrealistic
Hi sim,
Thanks for the email, but 100 euros is about a factor of 10-50 off. A base site in D7 will run you ~$5K USD, mostly because D7 has too many .dev/.beta modules. The best recommendation I can give you is to attempt it yourself, and then hire someone.
And, you don't want to go through the D6 to D7 upgrade process, precisely because of what John says. It doesn't work (well).
It's simpler to build a new D7 site the way you want and migrate the data straight from the D6 DB to the D7 DB. You can see some of my prior posts for example migration code. Or post your current site's URL, if you want a guesstimate bid. But at an absolute minimum, I'd charge $500 US for data migration, if you provide the tarballs and .sql's of both sites.
Best Regards,
Sam

thanks but my site is not commercial and I can not afford a price so 'high. (: can you help me in another mode? the site had 2 years so is not big.
If you do the upgrade
If you do the upgrade yourself you will receive support here on drupal.org. There are a lot of modules so at 100 Euro it might easily turn into a job at Euro1 per hour to get the upgrade error free, not including upgrading the theme (with some themes a big job). Sam has suggested the cheaper option of building a site and migrating data, rather than running an upgrade, and this is also something you could also do yourself probably more easiiy than upgrading.

How does he know that it
How does he know that it takes 100 hours? I just need to update the modules, not the theme. I'll update the theme.
It's the number of modules
To give you one example, the first on your list is BackReference.
The project page for that explicitly says that it will not be ported to Drupal 7. The suggestion is to use a different module instead, and once Drupal 6 is working with that module then to migrate to Drupal 7.
Do you want the developer to do that work as well. Or would you be willing to migrate to using CNR, and then let the developer you hire take over?
That's just one module. There will be others where the task is not as simple as dropping in the Drupal 7 version of the same thing. 100 hours may be an over-estimate, or it may be spot on, but a list of modules that big will not be a small task.

100 hours for this seem to me too, I just want at least content types, nodes, alias path , all cck field. it is important upgrade the cck and taxonomy field. in my test, i have some problems actually with content taxonomy.
no need to port Global
no need to port Global redirect / pathauto until late. Anyway the job is more likely to find a contractor if you remove and uninstall the modules not to be upgraded, then ensure you have an error-free site before starting upgrade. Obviously it does not make sense to ask for error-free upgrade, unless the site before upgrade is error free.
My suggestion would be to strip out (correctly uninstall) the modules not to be upgraded, in a test copy of the site, make sure all D6 modules are up to date, confirm that the starting site is error free by checking in Recent Log Messages for errors, and repost the job in a new thread on the basis that it is simpler, error free D6 site needing upgrade.
These upgrade jobs are still not very attractive, to be honest. The difficulty depends partly on how clean the database is, and how many custom content types etc. you have.

is precisely what 'I'm doing
is precisely what 'I'm doing now. I have a database with only the site A width Drupal 6 with essential modules and another database B with a new installation D7. I did upgrade the website and database modules A and copying only the necessary tables in the database B. but I have problems with content taxonomy, which leaves me empty fields ... and then problems with ImageField.

yes cck migration is in my experience a tricky part of upgrade. You have probably seen this page http://drupal.org/node/1144136 which may help.

certainly, I followed the guide http://drupal.org/node/1144136 and all guides of individual modules. but imagefield and content taxonomy are the big problem.
And did you see the upgrade

yes, I followed the procedure. However, the tables are created but are empty. and then pick up a taxonomyextra. I'm trying to export from the old table content_field_x into new field_data_field_x that are empty. I hope to work but it's long because there are about 10 tables.
You might try Feeds module.

in my test simple upgrade with cnr the reference will ported correctly.
I managed to import all
I managed to import all fields and cck nodes. but 'the images I generate this error:
Warning: array_flip () [function.array-flip]: Can only flip STRING and INTEGER values! in DrupalDefaultEntityController-> load ()
why? if i hide the images in the display of nodes there are errors.
for the transfer of views, better recreate from zeo?
There are many pieces of
There are many pieces of Drupal code which can trigger this error, some are listed here http://drupal.org/node/1102570. Anyway get the site working first then track the error. Usually the error does not stop the site working.
My experience was the upgrading Views does work though sometimes a particular view gets buggy. You could take a database backup, try upgrading Views. and If it does not work you can then delete and recreate the views.
Digit Professionals specialising in Drupal, WordPress & CiviCRM support for publishers in non-profit and related sectors
Hello, I have almost
Hello, I have almost completed the transfer. However I can not find anything that resembles Multigroup of cck. in practice, with views I can not recreate the tables that I did with drupal 6. I tried the form collections but too complicated. how could I do?
The list did not say you were
The list did not say you were using Multigroup. I suppose the options depend on what you were using it for.
Well done on getting so far!
You probably understand now why people felt Euro100 was too low. Once the site is working properly, you will only need to debug any error messages in Recent Log Messages. Hopefully there will be none, though in my experience this can be the biggest part of the upgrade.

I think that abandoning the project, even as a form nodewords there. meta tags has many problems and does not work with panels. what do you recommend?
Metatags Quick module.
Metatags Quick module.

I tried that but it does not work.
example:
Article / * / news

I do not understand your
I do not understand your last post. Metatags are supposed to be attached to nodes, of course, but not visible, and not path-dependent.
There is said to be an upgrade path from nodewords to metatags_quick but I have not tried to use it.
If you have metatags in your D6 site and they are not appearing in D7, even after following upgrade path, you might need to import them manually into the tables created by a module such as metatags quick (or nodewords), either by adding them article by article, or (if you have a large number) working out a mysql query to do it.

I solved with the module in
I solved with the module in sandbox panels_meta. Once I figured all I advice you to copy everything into a fresh installation of Drupal 7 to eliminate unnecessary variables? how do I know which variables to delete?
In this thread nobody said
In this thread nobody said anything about unnecessary variables.
Once your website is up and running you might want to go through the database deleting stuff which is no longer used. But it is not strictly necessary.
Digit Professionals specialising in Drupal, WordPress & CiviCRM support for publishers in non-profit and related sectors
I wouldn't touch your
I wouldn't touch your variables. They're not doing any harm. The only way to know what's not being used is to study the code line by line.

I switched to the new Drupal 7. ok and is very fast. One problem is the lack of heavy alternative to Multigroup cck. for now use fieldgroup, but 'is a big absence.
I was practically impossible to create views with fields connected with the same 'delta', so I can not customize much.
At least you're roughly there.
It sounds like it was a lot of work (which is why nobody wanted to pick it up for €100!), but it also sounds like you've very nearly got things where you want them. Well done!

Yes. If you switch on 'create
Yes. If you switch on 'create revision' for a Drupal node, earlier drafts of the node are kept in the database, to allow you to revert to them. In Wordpress this is default behaviour. Keeping revisions tends to make the database large, but some websites need it.

I have a view wherein are gathered all the thumbnails of a gallery. each image is linked to its large display that I create with pager. Therefore, I have a page 'foto' where they collected all the pictures and a page 'foto/image?page=x' with a single image.
in the miniatures if I create a custom link type node/ 1!/photo/image?page=[delta] see properly in the preview view path/foto/image?page=2 but if it goes on the page 'picture' all images link to path/foto/image.
almost there something I missed ?page=x in the link.
I am not sure why the delta
I am not sure why the delta token for paging does not work for you in Drupal 7. I do not even know whether your use of it in Drupal 6 depends on Token module?

the problem is redirect?

I have no answer. If you are not on a standard theme already, such as Bartik or Garland, you might try switching theme. If you have a redirect module enabled you might try disabling it. But I am hunting around in the dark really....

thank you anyway. I still go back to Drupal 6, because in Drupal 7 is not no possibility of having cck Multigroup. I have content that I need the report 'delta' to create data tables and this in drupal 7 there isn't.
