I have configured the captcha to only use the the password reset and registration points. It is using all of the points. This applies to 2.1 and 2.2. I am using D5.1 and I am only using the math captcha. I do have the textimage installed, but I am not using it.

I have 2.2 installed on 5.1, captcha/Math is enabled for most forms in all roles, I have Form Capture set up and have recorded knowledge of a couple dozen forms. The captcha doesn't show up for any of them.

I do have textimage unpacked on my system. I have installed textimage as a module. Textimage doesn't show as one of the captcha types (and I haven't installed any fonts to textimage). I just deinstalled textimage as a module, and there's no change whether captcha forms show up or not.
