Dependent Drop down Facets

Hello, thank you for this module!

I'm looking to create a search/facet navigation with drop down selects but using a hierarchical taxonomy structure, so i need a dependent drop down structure, like the navigation design that I've attached. In this image, the left side of this navigation (for location) would probably be handled with search api filters, whereas the right side would be two levels of a limited hierarchical taxonomy, with additional filters for content type.

I'm wondering, based on your work with this module, if you think this would be fairly easy to do, or quite complex.

I'm primarily a designer/UI architect but do have some coding experience. However, if you feel it's very complex I might solicit paid help to complete this part of the website structure.
