Extend the registration form by adding fields with drupal module, populate them from facebook informations.

I'd please need an opinion , more than an opinion, a way to solve this issue. I've been struggling all the way to do this but i cant...

I need to extend the registration form of drupal which means that aside username and password there might be fields like birthday, location, hometown etc, what i need is to pre-populate the fields before via facebook and if all the fields are completed, for the user to proceed the registration, if not, to fill all the required fields..

Can i do this via drupal for facebook? And please can yu give me more precise answers, i am new to this and i would appreciate some real help because i don't have much time left...
