Blog layout image left in own column

I'm trying to get my image for a blog post on the teaser page to be left in it's on column and aligned with the top of with each post title. i guess you could do this with panels or Display Suite, but How would i achieve this with the Delta and Context? I've attached a screen shot. only one photo shows, but imagine each post would have a photo left without the the text wrapping around and below it.
