I'm unclear how much this module differs from inline.module short of adding the ability to convert inline tag syntax to html on save and thickbox support - would it not make more sense to provide patches to inline.module for those features rather than a completely new module.

I say this because I was about to submit thickbox/craqbox as a feature request to inline, when I saw this project linked in the forums.

'Merge back' isn't possible. To understand better the differences between these modules compare the code with your favorite diff program (maybe winmerge).
